How much scent should I expect from my candle?

As a rule of thumb, a 4oz candle will fill a smaller space like a bathroom and burn for about 25 hours. An 8oz candle will fill a normal sized room like a kitchen and burn for about 50 hours. A 16oz candle will fill a larger space like a living room and burn for about 80 hours. Natural candles made out of soy, coconut, or vegetable wax tend to throw more subtly than paraffin based waxes. Please keep in mind that open windows, fans, etc. might affect the candle’s scent and strength.
